The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Qld Inc constitution demands that every two years both executive and general committee member positions are put to the member base for nominations and new members voted in.

At the AGM on February 3rd 2026 the following positions will be vacated making way for new appointees to be voted in:

• President
• Treasurer
• Two general member

Proposed amendments to the club constitution

A special resolution will made at the beginng of the AGM to ratify proposed changes. All members are encourages to review the proposed changes in the linked documents below in advance of the AGM.

• The proposed targeted amendments are designed to preserve our existing rotation principles while ensuring the Club can continue to operate effectively if nominations are limited or unavailable.

• The amendments do not remove member control, extend terms indefinitely, or bypass elections. They simply clarify what happens if no nominations are received and allow short-term continuity until members can elect a replacement.

To ensure that the club can continue to provide and manage our events effectively, consider giving back to the club as a committee member. Nominating is simple: complete this Nomination Form and have it co-signed appropriately. Return the completed nomination to the Club Manager via email by COB 27th of January 2026.

In order to nominate, vote or proxy your vote you must be a paid member of Motorcycle Sportsmen or have an “Official & Volunteer” membership via Ridernet. If you have not renewed your membership for 2026 please do this before attending the AGM. If you are new to Motorcycle Sportsmen and Ridernet, a quick how-to video can be viewed below.
