This document must be read in conjunction with Chapter 7 (Road Race) of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport
Technical Regulations:
All machines must comply with Section 7 D: Technical Regulations, of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport
All machines must comply with Section 7.21 Production, of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport, except where stated below
The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland has 2 Production Classes, based on machine capacity.
Machine eligibility Production 300
To be eligible to compete, machines in the Production class:

Permitted Modifications
Commentary is welcomed on these rules, if you believe that a change to these rules would benefit the entire class, please submit them in writing via email to manager@motorcyclesportsmen.com.au .Rule change requests will be reviewed by the club management committee and if successful, incorporated in the next revision.

The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland has 2 Production Classes, based on machine capacity.
Machine eligibility Production 300
To be eligible to compete, machines in the Production class:
- Must have an have an engine capacity of:
- No more than 300cc and no less than 201cc for Four Stroke machines.
- No more than 150cc for Single Cylinder Two Stroke machines
- Need not be a current model
- Need not be approved by MA
Machine eligibility Production 400
To be eligible to compete, machines in the Production class:
- Must have an have an engine capacity of:
- No more than 400cc and no less than 301cc for Four Stroke machines.
- Need not be a current model
- Need not be approved by MA
Permitted Modifications
- Fairings, screen, rear body work, seat, mudguards, tank covers and frame side covers may be modified or replaced with aftermarket race units designed to fit any road going machine.
- Rear suspension units and springs may be replaced with non-OEM units
- Slick or Treaded tyres may be used.
- Wet tyres may be used
