The Motorcycle Sportsmen Club racer class is an introductory class designed for new racers to develop the necessary race craft skills in a competition environment without the pressure of jumping straight into a championship class.
We are offering first-time racers the chance to race for free at Morgan Park Raceway. Just book in for our track day at the all-inclusive Club racer special price of $294* and you will receive free entry into the club racer class for the race meeting on Saturday & Sunday, that's 3 days of riding and a saving of $321.00!

**Club racer special offer price is based on a trackday at our discount club member's rate of $190 plus the MQ rider levy ($9), timing fee ($15) and one-event race license ($80 if required) and Day license (for track day $25 if required) but the race entry is free! Club Racer Class Information
1.1. CLUB RACER Class may use ONE EVENT LICENSES.
1.2. CLUB RACER Class is open to Senior Riders on Solo Machines.
1.3. CLUB RACER competitors MAY NOT CROSS-ENTER into any other class.
1.4. CLUB RACER Class events are intended as an introduction to ROAD RACING and as such you may be moved out of this class at any time at the discretion of the Clerk of Course or the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Qld.
1.5. Riders who fail to record a qualifying time may be seeded in any position on the grid at the discretion of the Clerk of Course, with agreement from the club.
1.6. Riders who have not raced previously should attend either the Coaching Day or the Track Day prior to the meeting so they can be assessed as competent to race.
1.7. The Clerk of Course and the Club reserve the right to deny any rider’s entry on the basis of their ability on the track.
1.8. No points are awarded for the placegetters in the CLUB RACER Class.
1.9. MACHINE REQUIRMENTS – CLUB RACER COMPETITORS ONLY (Please contact the club for assistance, Rules are available at http://moms.org.au/
1.9.1. Brake Caliper bolts to be lockwired or taped/fastened in the tightened position
1.9.2. Remove Glycol based Coolant from Radiator – only water or non glycol inhibitor allowed.
1.9.3. Sump plugs, caps and filters, which, if removed, permit the discharge of any lubricating, cooling or hydraulic fluids must be lock-wired, taped or secured in the fastened position.
1.9.4. Catch trays and Engine Protection must be fitted as per the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.
1.9.5. Mirrors must be removed, lights, glass, indicators to be removed.
1.9.6. Centre or Side Stands should be REMOVED or lock-wired, or secured in the up position.
1.9.7. No gear racks, sacks or panniers. Number/registration plates to be removed.
1.9.8. Your Riding Number is to be placed on the front fairing, and both sides of the rear tail fairing. These can be made using contact so they can be removed easily after the event.
